Maren

Purple rock with flowers galore,
Shielded from the sun.
Purple ribbons on every pole,
Reminding all of one so young.

Sweet sixteen a comfort to all,
Calling from the wind.
Always a smile, a helping hand
Going the extra mile, no sin

Never forget the promise of one,
Helping all she touched.
Passing days, sleepless nights,
All the flowers so nicely bunched.

Remembrance never forgets,
The passing of the sun.
The moon fades out every night,
The next day thinking of the one.

Bring us back and bring us forth,
To the past that we all need.
That way we will always remember
a certain smile,
The perfect smile, …….indeed.
