MARISKA

I'm watching her in the show - Law and Order,
her mother was a sex-bombshhell - Jane Mansfield,
her father, Mickey Hartigay, was a Mr. Universe,
mother's death couldn't have been much worse.

A car accident decapitated her gorgeous head,
ended up on the passenger seat, someone said,
imagine the paramedics arriving on the scene,
only boobs instead of where her head should have been.

We pay our respects to the living and the dead,
moments in history - where were you when the sun exploded,
did it matter? You read the story in the newspaper,
an icon gone, now we wait until the next one comes along.

You should be proud Mariska - your mother was special,
and belonged in that rare sphere of being magical
