Meadow

Meadow

In this field of wilds so fair
Golden smiles fill sweet air
Bask in warm sunshine
Roots and stems intertwine

Wave vast in lush terrain
Vying for torrential rain
Dance midst gentle sough
Leaves keep tempo atop bough

Melodies as old as time
Natures aria most sublime
Β Love me, love me not
Petals coat fertile plot

Laying in this field of dreams
Whispers soft of babbling streams
Cozy atop supple bed
Perfect venue to rest one’s head
