Embrace the truth of Saturnalia,
Converted to our Lords birth!
Spend exorbitant sums of money
To hide the emptiness within,
To feed the beast of insecurity,
When more is better than thought.
Enjoy this time that has lost all meaning
When the celebration is now forgotten
And a false deity rides a sleigh.
Wrongfully we let children believe
In a personage of pagan myth,
Eroding their faith in later years
Because of white lies sown now.
Oh joyous tidings it is when young minds
Deluded by what should be righteous
Turn astray to join the ranks of souls lost.
