Milkweed Memories

Milkweed Memories

Tall meadows and fields fill the earth with a tender touch

Kissed by the beautiful butterflies they thrive, a miracle of life

They feed upon the land, the grace, the waltz, the toss, the breeze through the weeds

Life is so short when we really see, it begins and ends

Bright with the sunlight, quiet in clouds it sighs

Take a long look around, what do you see?

You see the beautiful scenes with the goodness of God, milkweed memories

Across every rainbow you see, think of me

As I flutter to the other side, to be with you, in our hearts always

Milkweed memories
