Poem -

Mind Games

Minds wander , what's real and what's fake

Alert to all, awaiting fate
Noises from downstairs, dogs barking outside,
Creaks from the floor, cars driving by
Everything makes you jumpy, makes your heart race
Noises from the door, a shadow without a face

Minds playing tricks now, scaring yourself
Nothing to fear but fear itself
We know this, but still tremble and shake
Alone anticipating fate
One in bed, two in the room
Fear takes over, it'll be over soon

Minds tricked ourselves, finally got rest
Worried about nothing, unnecessary stress
In the end , turned out to be a laughing matter
Next time , conquer fear with laughter
