Miracles

Miracles

You were, indeed, a miracle
in more ways than one
but not in ways you think
but the ones you deny.

Your life was never risked,
but your mind seems to be lost
in what seems to be a friendly world
with guards to keep you in, disguised as friendly ghosts.

Miracles indeed, that you have thrived
away from home, away from love
yet in your place you still refuse
to give a chance, to let the magic work.

Miracle will be when you come back
and lift the blindfold from your eyes
and see the color, feel the wind
and learn that here we'll always be
there for you, there with you
sharing miracles in tune.
