Poem -

Mirrors

In the mirror you should look
Before you try and write a book
To seal the fate of your fellow man
Do you think you could understand
The walk they walked, and the pain it took
To be so bold as to care
About a people with such obtuse looks
Your anger must hide a lot of pain
To misunderstand and then try and gain
A profit from there demise
Be careful because God has perfect eyes
To see the thoughts and actions that
Spread the lies and trouble blamed
On the one who tried so hard
To help you get rid of your pain
I know now that this is what it took
Because I read it in his book
A love so real he gave his life
As a perfect sacrifice, he was
Spotless and without blemish
Does that make you squeamish
Then why is it you could not see
That his love was perfect and set us free
