Poem -

Misery

I'm sorry mother for what I'm about to say,

It seems my life is threaded into a brutal dismay.

I dream much further then my possible capability, to the stars they say but life's sin is within me.

If gravity holds us down then it must have it in for me, I feel six foot lower then anyone around me.

dead to all, unnoticed and still,

like a wave that's not strong enough to reach the shore,

ive been drifting in a sea of misery for far too long.
