Miss Chameleon

Come see the ever-changing wonder!

Miss Chameleon

Miss Chameleon
Changing into the backdrop
You're being whoever
They want you to be
Miss Chameleon
Acting just like a canvas
Showcasing whatever
That they want to see

Miss Chameleon
Kind and a sweetheart,
Or is she scary,
Or oh so witty?
Miss Chameleon
A grade-A student,
Or is she violent,
Or just quite pretty?

Miss Chameleon
Blending into her surroundings
Or standing out
Only when they ask
Miss Chameleon
What's she really like?
Concealing a weapon,
Or concealing a flask?

Miss Chameleon
When she goes to parties
Is she centre stage,
Or barely there at all?
Miss Chameleon
Is she very happy?
Does she long for a love life,
Or just block every call?

Miss Chameleon
You think that you know her
Only 'cause she lets you
Believe you're her friend
Miss Chameleon
Oh she'll never show you
Which side she stands on
Until the bitter end

You, the fire. Me, the wood.

I guess you could say this was a toxic relationship.

You, the fire. Me, the wood.

Like fire and wood
Together we burned
Perfect together
Until I realised you hurt...
