Missing you at Christmas

Missing you at Christmas

It’s Christmas...again
Another year gone by
That makes 3 now
And still I wonder why

Although I love Christmas,
To me it’s a time for family
And it’s too hard to accept
That you’re still not here with me

I try to imagine you there
With a smile upon your face
Opening all of your presents
With your beauty and your grace

You are so grown up now
And not that far away
But you’re out of reach from me
I couldn’t make you stay

My baby girl I love you so
I hope you are having fun
Laughing and playing, with joy in your heart
Because to me, you are the sun.
