MISTER BALL AND OTHERS

Have you heard the tale of Mister Ball ?
He keeps his bedroom in his messy hallĀ 
This was told to me by Mister BurtonĀ 
Spies on him by looking through his curtainĀ 

The comings and goings on this busy street
Are all noted down by a chap called PeteĀ 
He has a pretty wife and her name is KateĀ 
She loves to gossip to all by her gateĀ 

Opposite to Mister Ball is Mrs JonesĀ 
Full of woe and full of groans
She is the one who starts any rumour
This street sure has dark secrets and humour
