MISTER BALL AND OTHERS

Have you heard the tale of Mister Ball ?
He keeps his bedroom in his messy hall
This was told to me by Mister Burton
Spies on him by looking through his curtain

The comings and goings on this busy street
Are all noted down by a chap called Pete
He has a pretty wife and her name is Kate
She loves to gossip to all by her gate

Opposite to Mister Ball is Mrs Jones
Full of woe and full of groans
She is the one who starts any rumour
This street sure has dark secrets and humour
