MISTER SHORT AND MISTER LONG

Mister Short met Mister Long in town today
One wanted to stay the other to get away 
Onto the pub they both decided to go 
The story was like this if you'd like to know 

Shorts were ordered in a long tall glass 
Sitting outside in both long and short grass
Mister Short wore his shorts this fine day 
A good choice Mister Long to him did say 

One of them always gave a long explanation 
The other tried to put an end to the conversation 
Both lived up to their names that's certainly true 
I'm sure they enjoyed their rendezvous
