Poem -
mixed up

- i'd cry me a river when i'm sad
- i'd climb a mountain when i'm glad
- feelings up and down they go
- they burst that dam
- then ski that snow
- every day's a question inside
- will i swim that river
- will i climb that hill
- will i encounter both
- will i have resistance or will
- the power of my mind to decide
- if i have the strength to go that ride
- but still i'm here, through joy and pain
- still i'm here through sun and rain
- looking at the young
- hurting like a volcano about to erupt
- my thoughts and words are with them
- in their journey to grow up
- a struggle it is every day,but words and prayers
- will keep you safe from that confusing way

Tina,
Consider this a comment on both "Keeping The Strong Will" and this one "Mixed Up" (why'd you call it that?). Most of our attitudes stem from the realities of our surroundings. we are more alike than different. I used to tell people that I wish I was born at least a generation earlier- but God (and Goddess) know what they're doing. We are exactly where we're supposed to be. Keep doing what you are- you may not know it, but you're an inspiration to me also.

Wow Tina,
A lady of truth on a journey through life, with life and for more than just
her life...A mission must she travel, sometimes feeling alone, a road less
traveled and a long ways from home. An inspiration too many but to herself she
has questions, that need answers and many has eluded her, some, just as many, has
mixed up meanings but give up, not an option to ponder on.This life, in it she
has had battles and with those, she's left sad, to all she calls her loved ones,
she's been mother and their dad. A mom and a provider, a life dealt river of
tears, as she lay awake many a nights, making amends to all the earth’s
ailments, engulfed in one hell of a fight. But move on she must, no true friends
to assist her through, her family her only motivation, as she assures them.....I
love you...Tina a poem of truth for us all and by you fitting and rings so, so,
true.....
