Modern day kings

We live like kings
Treated like servants
Youth is a blessing
Love of failure is our curse
Drinking the blues away everyday
Turning up to avoid facing my demons
Them blue eyed creatures i see during the night
On my bad days they attack during the day
Our lives are quite astonishing
We answer the world with “fuck you”
Destroy the greens that keep us living
Ignorance is bliss
We follow blindly our own
Social media has led us down a dark road
Who cares cause all we do is pop pills
Them likes give us the most high
Dopamine the greatest drug
Second to only love
The youth we love it all
That's why we treated like slaves
But live like kings
