Monster

Monster

When my mom’s boyfriend moved in with us, I no longer feared monsters under my bed.

I found out very quickly, the monster slept in my mom’s bed.

My mom before would tell me that monsters don’t exist, as I would run to her scared.

I found out very quickly, my mom wasn’t right, as I hid scared.

Monsters do exist, they express themselves with closed fists, he even scared himself.

I found out very quickly, my mom
wasn’t allowed to be herself.

When my mom’s boyfriend moved in with us, I no longer feared monsters under my bed.

He was the only monster I wanted dead!
