Moonbeam...

Moonbeam...

From this plant
I ask you to grant,
A moon beam
So I can dream,
I want to imagine
The man standing
Without a care
In the world,
Because he knows
Moons come
And go but
There's only
One earth,
I've spoke
To him before
While my head
Was on the pillow,
He said
That he was
Amongst the stars,
And for me
They weren't
Very far,
He told me
If I keep dreaming
Then he
Would keep beaming,
He would be
There in
The night sky,
Even when
I break down
And cry,
So when I
Look up
Through my
Window,
I'm happy
That these
Moons
Still grow...
