MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD
My love life through the years has
been like a diversity of metals
Some were very precious like gold
some were pig iron, as in judgemental
My gold ones were the ones i loved
and there were only three
Two of them treated me with love
from the other, i broke free
I had the occasional one or two
that i thought of as brass or copper
But really that was only dating
not love,that was real and proper
I did have one i thought of as mercury
the only metal that is liquid
But when we dated he talked not much
so i found him quite insipid
I also dated a body builder and i
thought of him as stainless steel
But oh my god he thought more of himself
so he lost that sex appeal
I m looking now for my platinum man
the most precious metal known
And then in love we will join together
Mr platinum, and me his beloved gemstone

This piece is gorgeous sweetie and so well put together and well thought out. I love the way you describe and assimilate men and all their different personalities to those various metals and we`ve all been there and met those different types haven`t we sweetie?! Definitely hold out for that special platinum man! girls, because they may be rare but they are well worth the wait.
You have clearly and wisely brought to the fore the importance of valuing our own lives as well as the people we allow into them. I consider it a great honour that you have allowed me into your life as a friend and I thank you for that honour very much.
