Mother Mary

Mother Mary

O’ Mary blessed one
Begat tis sacred son
Chaste in pristine gown
Ornate tis holy crown

Sons will shan’t be spared
Β Rueful grave wounds bared
Keen thorns deeply marred
Humanity eagerly scarred

Blood spilt ruby red
Roses adorn instead
Akin to Lazarus reprise
Conquer death and arise

Even though unjust claim
Mercy befell mankind’s name
But for now mother mourn
Find peace, Christ tis reborn
