Mother's Day

My mother was a kind lady,
A person to talk and laugh,
I miss her gentle smile and face,
But god chose a different path.

It seems like forever that I'd seen her,
Sitting with a coffee and a smoke,
Listening to all our favourite music,
And would laugh at all of my jokes.

There is still so much to tell you,
My daughter and all those things,
But now i hope you watch over us,
Since god gave you your wings.

I hope you found your inner peace,
And your god showed you the way,
So i pray that you are still happy,
