A Mothers Hands

A Mothers Hands

~~A Mothers Hands

These Hands though they are worn
They have been used in many ways
Hard work they have seen
At night used to pray

Soothed many an illness
Held little ones from birth
The trails of their lines
Display years of much worth

They may shake at times
They aren’t quite as nimble
Yet in their day they sewed
Mended with needle and thimble

They wiped many tears
They nursed some back to health
They are so very priceless
One cannot buy that kind of wealth

As you look at those hands
And you recall that touch
Only then you understand
You were loved so very much

These hands tell a story
Comes straight from the heart
A mothers hands,
They are Gods work of art
