A Mothers Pain

Take my last breath from this body of mine,
I have no use for it.
I would endure the pain of birth once more,
To hold you in my arms once more,
To kiss you on your brow once more,
I would gladly give my last breath.
Take all senses and feelings from this aching body of mine.
So I can slip gently into dreaming.
Where I could see your face once more,
See the colour of your eyes once more,
See your smile light up my life once more,
I would give all sense and feeling.
Take my heart it has no use,
I feel nothing for its beat.
If I could hear your voice once more,
If I could touch your face once more,
If I could embrace you just once more.
I would give my last heartbeat.

Somthing no decent mother should have to go thru, really well expressed painful write :)
Thank you, Twisted Angel, Luckily the mother in the poem was not me but still painful to write as I am a mother.
