Mountain Whispers

Mountain Whispers

Mountain range to mountain range my eyes wander from the vast varieties of colors of the evergreen trees in the distance to the golden flakes of the tall sun-crisped grass passing by as we make our way north. The clouds shifting from shape to shape like fluffy marsh mellows being melted for s'mores. As the sun tucks itself away for the evening the stars awake with watching eyes as they lead us around the winding roads. The tiny planets shooting from east to west, asking for your wish. The moon glistens among the lake listening gleefully to the crickets chirp and the soft tidal hitting the shore with the breeze. The silhouette of the mountains towering over us in darkness of the night with piece and tranquility, land marking our next destination.
