The Power of 8

The Power of 8

I loved you when I thought I couldn't love at all.
You made me feel when I didn't think I would ever be able to feel again.
You made me see when I  thought there was nothing left to see.
You helped me smile when I thought I lost it.
I heard my laugh with you when  thought I would never hear it again.
I thought for once I was capable of love and being loved but maybe it was a game and I pressed play for you.
I let you make me happy when I needed to learn how to do that on my own.
You were the hope I had left.
I felt you every day and every night until I didn't anymore.
I let you in because I thought you were the only person I'd have to let in.
I thought you would feel too, with me, maybe you did but you probably didn't and if you did you forgot how to show it.
