Mountains

Even if I climb every mountain,
And never reach the top,
At least I can say along the way,
That I’ve learned a lot.
There are a few pit stops,
Along the winding path.
There is a period of rest,
Before igniting wrath.
Because of the journey,
I will make it to the end.
Its crucial not to hurry,
So I am stronger when I ascend.
I will make it there one day,
Knowing it is the hardest fight.
I just need everlasting faith,
And never lose touch of my sight.Â

I love this poem. Its very inspirational. We all have mountains to climb. Most take on the climb but the not so clever ones try and skirt around them. The climb is always worth it as you so wonderfully show us here in your poem x
