Movin on

I'm filling my phone
with pictures of me
To earase the pictures of you
I had to delete
And the images are gone,
but the memory's hanging on
Times changing my perspective
And the longer you're gone
The more I respond
The easier it is
To forget that first kiss
The list could go on
But I wouldn't be moving on
So sleep knowing
I'm not thinking about you anymore

As hard as it may seem, sometimes we gotta move on with our lives in order to be happy.
One-sided relationships where you're doing all the trying while your significant other blatantly and wantonly disrespects and demoralizes you, does you no good.
It's like beating your forehead against a concrete wall.
Oh yes, there will be blood.
Your own!
Nice writing, Savannah,

A still autumn night,
