A tribute to Mr. Bojangles AND Sammy Davis Junior
Many years ago On stage they introduced a young man who came on Stage and the spotlight was on him as he sang And danced this man was Mr. Bojangles, Many years went by and he got old and he would still be danceing.then one day he was gone,and then one day Along came another singer and dancer Mr Bojangles. and that man was Sammy Davis Jr who sang dance just like Mr. Bojangles then one day
Sammy was gone and they say every day that Sammy and Mr. Bojangles dance in heaven
this poem is dedicated to Mr. Bojangles and Sammy Davis Jr

Greg thank you for enlightening me for I never knew of the REAL Mr Bojangles, only the Sammy Davis Jr song.
Well that really is a turn up for the book and will look up the original Mr Bojangles and your double tribute poem pays great respects to both artists.
And Sammy's song is like both entertainers...timeless.
