Mr. Tambourine Man

Mr. Tambourine Man

'Hey Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me,'
do you remember that wonderful time of mystery?
they say that if you recall, you weren't there,
I was, we did everything that there was to dare.

There was that magic twirling ship that made
you know, perhaps maybe, where you were going to;
my friend looked at his motor cycle in the lounge,
he said: 'God, this 'sickle' looks so beautiful.'

The music of Cream thumped out on quadrophonic
stereo, I had ten speakers in my living room -
the leaves jumped on the trees, said: 'More please,'
'can't wait for the rappers from the westerlies.'

You don't know what it was like, wait till you're old,
maybe then you'll realize what was really gold.
