Murder On The Orient Express

Written when issued a challenge from Linda to solve a murder mystery.
.
The classiest train in all the world, is the incomparable Orient Express;
Everything is pure first class, nothing but the best!
One night on it, someone was murdered, almost one hundred years ago;
So they called in the World’s best Detective, the famous Hercule Poirot!
.
The victim was a man named Ratchett, but an alias did it be;
His real name was Casetti, Poirot quickly came to see!
He had kidnapped Daisy Armstrong, granddaughter of a actress of the day;
And eventually, did he murder her, then somehow got away!
.
Two theories were presented, for the mystery to be solved;
The first was that Daisy’s relatives, wanted justice to be resolved!
Grieving, one of them paid a visit, to her heinous abductor;
Who was found in his compartment, laying dead upon the floor!
.
Poirot had another hypothesis, he surmised and did believe;
That a stranger got on and killed him, then quickly did he leave!
But this author thinks they were both wrong, and knows who the real killer was;
None other than the ghost of Daisy Armstrong, took the life of this slimy scuzz!
.
.
Who knows what evil
Lurks in the heart of woman
Only the Poet does

Dear Joey,
We will go pull it up now, and post the comment on it tomorrow morning.
By the way, I am an art dealer by trade, and Berthe Morisot is one of my favorite artists.
Peace and Love,

Our Dear Cherie,
Actually, the movie came out last year, and although Linda and I did not see it yet, her sister did, and said it was wonderful. It was directed by Kenneth Branagh, and he also stars in it with Johnny Depp. We have HBO and Showtime, plus a zillion other movie channels, so we wait to see movies until they come to cable. I had a ball writing this, and actually figured out the killer as I started the last quatrain.
I then issued "her" a challenge, but of course, that one is censored.
All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx
