Poem -

Muse

Only an angel could possess
Eyes of that hue
And when they turn to gaze at me
I am cloven in two
For a demon lies in those eyes

How you make me tremble
Anticipation lies heavily
Upon naked flesh
That shivers relentlessly
Awaiting that first caress

Animalistic eruptions
Hands grabbing, clawing
Taking me to edge and back
From evening until morning
Exhaustion

Lazily recuperating
Lucozade and coffee
Sunlight bleeding into the room
Where you hold me
Waiting for my heartbeat to steady

You have a beauty in you
A raw energy, my muse
Strong enough to subdue me
And not make me lose
Strong enough to love me.
