My Blank Page by Anne Reeves

My Blank Page by Anne Reeves

Only two words for sure
written: birth, death
I'll fill the page now.

I came crying breathing (smiling)
all around me sheer joy
untold love, what dark hair
what eyes, what skin, just sublime.

Constant change until a fully formed statue
real, authentic, permanent and fixed,
if you know me yesterday
then I am the same person today.

I have suffered and prayed
changed within, in leaps in thoughts.
My soul has absorbed every fragrance
from all around me
softer words, gentler feelings.

Is this time for the last word
No! More to learn and more to see
and more tomorrows yet to come.

Hello Anne :)
I loved this reflection on the journey of life.

“My soul has absorbed every fragrance
from all around me
softer words, gentler feelings”

such beautiful imagery here. And I love the picture of the ripples. Like life, we create ripples. Lovely post
Many thanks
Gwen :)
