Disguised in all it's glory
Warmth caresses the skin
Peace is all around me 
Yet bereavement lies within. 
Rays of sunlight please me 
Melts the ice around my heart
Gentle song bird surrounds me
Cherubs to tell...where to start?
Deprived of goodbyes and tomorrow's
I can't relieve them of grief
Is there truly a heaven above us
Will it ease their pain, a belief?
When clouds smother the sunlight 
And shadows stand in their way
I'm powerless- but to comfort
And wipe the tears away
May their smiles return quickly
Sunshine warm their aching heart 
May memories turn into happy ones 
Their summer holidays...start xx
