My Cell

My Cell

Officially imprisoned,

And officially free.

Locked up for awhile,

But I finally see.

In my cell,

I fly far away.

This is not a hell.

It's just day by day.

Being Me

It can feel like that cant it? Living each day as if just going through the motions can definitely make you feel like a prisoner. I can relate to this poem!  Well written x

The Poem says that even though life isn’t always a holiday, the line that reads “This is a not hell” I interpret it to mean we can deal with it and there will be better days ahead. I find it giving hope when things aren’t going your way and it is nice to have hope.
