My Delicious Coffee

Two cups in the morning

And I'm ready to go

Wired just right

As I leave out the door

I must have my coffee

To make it through the day

Six sugars, five creams

Made just the right way

Deliciously good and steaming hot

From the top of the brim

To the very last drop

Like spinach to Popeye

My coffee wields strength

To deal with the idiots

My day will always send

A day without coffee

Is like the desert without heat

An abomination of nature

A drum with no beat

If you want morning laughter

And happiness and glee

Let me drink my coffee

Or release the monster

Deep inside of me.
