Poem -

MY DEMONS

Ever since I lost you I gained a friend,
He was a bad influence until the end.
He sat on my shoulder and whispered in my ear,
Your life is so pointless, why are you even here?
I said back to my newest friend,
I’m just trying to reach the end.
He said, don’t be sad I can help you get there.
At this point it was only him that seemed to care.
He gave me advice on how I could end my pain,
He said go for a walk in the thunder and rain.
Keep on walking until you can’t go any longer,
The voices from the demon getting much more stronger.
Did I call him a demon, I meant my friend,
With him I never had to sit and pretend.
He was there for me right until the end.

Cleverly written, very heart-breaking, but amazing expression of anguish filled heartbreak and pain. KudosπŸ‘πŸ½

Very deep and laden in pain.Β  For the reader to feel what your trying portray is a job very well done.

I can only try and share the pain with you guys, but it’s the last thing I want you to experience because it’s beginning to really ruin me.
