My Fault

My Fault

I look into my tea cup
What do I see?
I see my own reflection
It’s looking back at me
The clock ticks slowly forwards
Time will never be
Still I’m looking through my tea cup
In misery

The clock keeps falling off the wall
I’ve got mouldy pictures in my hall
The flies don’t fly
They barley crawl
It’s not my fault

I swim through muddy waters
Now I’m treading solid ground
I’ve just got to find a way through
These obstacles I’ve found
My tea cup never tells no lies
It never gives me alibis
I will find the path in which I take
Be it true or be it fake
It’s not my fault
It is yours when the times too late
