My Funny Valentine

My Funny Valentine

'Is your figure less than Greek, is your mouth
a little weak, when you open it to speak,
don't say a prayer for me, if you care for me,
stay, little valentine stay, for every day
is valentine's day.'

I had so many cards, not a word inside,
even if they were, then they only lied,
the flowers mounted up, they sure tried,
beautiful red roses, so nice we all cried.

Of all the girls I've ever loved before,
there was no one else whom I needed more;
we need some 'soppy' to make us happy,
take us away and give us some mystery.

'Don't say a prayer for me, if you care for me,
stay valentine, for every day is valentine's day.'
