I opened my eyes 
It's a new day
Still alive and still breathing 
I thank God, as I pray
Hopeful for a good day
Something to look forward to
Some mail in the mailbox
A phone call from you
Some say; I'm still dreaming 
That dreams don't come true
All I have left are my dreams
Would you take my breath too?
I live every lonely moment 
Perhaps; Too much in my mind
Because my heart still beats
And my faith isn't blind
Another uneventful day has passed
My dreams turned in for the night
But tomorrow's another day
As I look forward to the morning's light
A new day for something exciting
A dream I can reach for
As long as I live and have breath 
There will always be dreams to explore
