My Lighthouse

Part 3

My Lighthouse

I met my lighthouse about a year and a half ago when I first saw him. I thought he was a rugged and kind of intimidating. Plus this lighthouse didn't have a light on the inside, which had the appearance that he was lonely. Nothing seemed to give him a spark of light in a storm. I would see the lighthouse when I passed by but never stay and check it out. But passing weeks go by and I take a leap of faith and enter the lighthouse. Which seemed to almost call out to me now, probably for taking so long to come inside. I realized it was cozy and serene. There was this aurora. I never felt that way with any other. I turned out to be the light to this lighthouse. I am proud to be that. We make the ultimate team and keep each other afloat and safe.
