My resolution

This year my resolution will last more than two weeks,

I will be a better man, and my actions will only speak.

To you my wife I swear to never again make you cry,

It's been so long since I saw that sparkle in your eyes.

Now to you my only son this year I will be there more,

I promise you the little things I will no longer ignore.

If I stick to my resolution,

My family will have a wonderful year in store.
