“My turn to shine”

 “My turn to shine”

                          “My turn to shine”

Spring laid winter down for a nap, she promised their mother,

she would care for her as she slept,

Now winter turned away, spring came forward to stay, as winter

Fell into slumber, her sister, spring wept.

Spring sprung into action, with an introduction to beautiful bouquets,

of, Fuchsias, Daisy’s, Daffodils and Fleur-de-lis,

An assortment of all colored and kind of flowers, that throws the sense of smell and sight,

into one big hay day of a bliss.

Spring entered the day as though a dream come to life, with winds as its venders, utilized

to cascade the scents of her perfumish perfection,

with the many illusions of a grandiloquent rainbow, of collections of flowers, in similarities

left for the eyes and nose detection.

Spring has a sense of offering a bouquet of flowers, to all gardeners, whom tends to and harvest,

of its mother of birth, the lands for which we live,

the soaking of the shimmering sun she came with the coolness of the wind,

that blows her, hot and cold was her offerings to give.

Your mother would be proud whispered the daffodils to the tulips and Lavender Mist,

of the fragranced conglomeration of assorted flowers,

man could never introduce, the pungent simplicities, that spring has gathered in her basket full,

of carefully selected offerings, from her ancient powers.

I must do my sister winter proud for she came and before she left spoke chillingly out loud,

her day soon to be at end, her sister spring will soon step in,

Leaving the essence of bundled clothing, a thing, of the now, new past and giving way,

to clothing, to be worn, of light, loosely and thin.

Just as my sister before me gave way to my bright entrance, I too one day will take my sleep,

of well deserved slumber, for my sister to come, young summer,

but for now with such a long road to follow and many open flowers, waiting to attend,

I answer to the sounds, of the birds, bumble bees and their hummer.

Sleep my dear sister and sleep well, for when spring arose and winter slept,

many moist eyes from your cold chill, wept but only for this moment,

will they run bright and dry….

                                                       Jim

The (Great) Ravindra and on of my most favorite poets, has once again touched down on this site and to you i am honored. For those, who have not had the opportunity to have graced this individuals  presence in his poetry, i will say, you will fall in love with the poetry, of this master at work and his line of poetry, is well versed and in a class of its own.A poet for whom you will take pleasure in reading his works and enjoying it, unlike the many inspiring poets and poetess, that passed on before us, without knowing the pleasures of and from the many readers whom fell in love and was infatuated, with their works, before their departure. This is one of those inspired poets, that remains among us and i am fortunate, to have had the pleasures of reading and loving his works, from day one of his joining this site. His poems are those of rarity and spoken from all faucets of recited poetry, just as Williamsji, a must read and i can guarantee you, that you will enjoy the mind work of this fascinating individual......I am appreciative of your comment as always Ravindra Kumar and look forward and remain hungry, for again, the immaculance of your, powerful mind induced posted poetry....

In all highest of regards,

Jim

By far Ravindra, yourself, Shirley P. and Sir Williamsji

opened the door on this site for many and i was fortunate enough to step in and borrow from the ways of all three...Your philosophy on all things possible and not possible was food for me from the beginning and Shirley's compassion for all, spawn across this site like an uncontrollable wildfire and Sir Williamsji, took the ball and ran with it, commenting on everyone on this sites page and his comments, escalated a good poem into a great poem status....So from you three, i learned a lot about poetry, myself, and people in general.  ( At one point i restricted and allowed myself to be introverted) but now extrovert, be my mood of operation...You three were a strong part of that, (now) opened book...You were and still remain to me to be the most philosophical poet i have been acquainted to for sometime and my brother Williamsji, i can never say enough, about what he has truly brought to this site and Shirley, is this site,(this is her baby) and she has raised it quite well...

Highest of all regards attached,

Jim Arnold

Hi Pinusha,

I am flattered with your comment and to you i am humbled in your presence.I can't say how sweet your comment taste after i read them, that of nectar, rendered yet felt,(by me) never to have been earned, yet you gave them anyway and i sincerely thank you for them.Your comment resonates to me better than the poem and you broke it down quite well, and in just a small collection of words, summed up the entire evolution, of the birth, of the poem and in you, i am impressed and forever will remain grateful to and when it comes to your poems, you have many, that beckons me to their readings, each time i visit this site and with each (new) reading, (just as the first), they continue to impress me, to the fullest, for you are one of my favorite female poetess and always will be.....

My highest of regards, goes out to you dear lady, forever and always,

Jimmy

On the contrary Piusha,

By far i am the one flattered and i try to call it, as i truly see it, in the comment department...Yours are the words of compassion and sincerity and i thank you once again, (immensely), for you being you and honesty, is one of the attributes, that seems to spawn and flow gracefully and evenly from all, on this site and you dear lady, in all of your poems and comments, to all you have paid tribute to and with people such as yourself, feeding your comments from the heart and in the abundant manner in which you do, the camaraderie on this site will never falter or die, it will simply more than any, flourish and increase in structural participation, making once outsiders, now insiders to this site and positive visitation, through many more poets, artist, story writers and compassionate dreamers to come, on this site. People such as yourself and Deborah and all other inspirers on this site, are a fine example of continuations of maintaining and keeping this sought out tradition alive....

Thank you "Poetess Piusha," (hey that has a good ring to it) (smiles)...
