"MYSTERY LADY"

"MYSTERY LADY"

I saw a jacket
Lying in the street
Wondering
Whose could it be
Who does it belong to
I picked it up
The scent of roses
The sweet fragrance
Went straight to my head
Who does it belong to

It started to rain
AΒ warm pulsing rush thruΒ my veins
And I couldn't help but smile
Then walked forΒ a few miles

As soft as a whisper
Texture like a feather
The color a deep red

I'm filled with both passion and dread

Who does it belong to
I check the pockets
AΒ poem inside
She has a beautiful mind
Who does it belong to

It started to rain
AΒ vision of a lovely Woman
and I just smiled
With a promise to find her
Even if it took awhile

Who is this mystery lady
My subconscious
What do I do
I've got to see this through
Who is this mystery lady
I hope she returns
My body burns
I want to see her face
And know her name
