NAILED ONTO THE UNFINISHED LIFE

unfinished life, Unfinished life
why do you wave like the forgotten tall grass
so many spilt brown whiskey river veins

yet unfinished life
as a suicide reminder, you remain
voices sing from cloudless dancing skies
and sharing so many dreaming visions
as if you really cared

Empty cold sheeted sailing beds
forced from all your lover's heads
found you out in a mirrors skirt
barefooted laughter
diced smiling pathways
now your drawing pencil grey futures
plans on a marble tombstone saved,

Dogs they follow
in hollow lines of snorted sorrow
hell is the door  that never closed
and carved on the crucified cross
was your unfinished lie

THE UNFINISHED LIFE
