Narrow Margins
The olive branch
he once
held out for her
Now lies broken
and discarded ..
Consigned
it seems, to the
margin of an
otherwise empty
page ..
Yet he never
once thought,
even for
the very briefest
of moments
he would regret
quite so much,
ever loving you
and all in spite of her ..
