The Native Man

The Native Man

As I hunt with my life, it is driven by the sky

And I will never give up, for my family, my people are my pride

Where I go, they go with me, and they are hungry, I will provide

It is the will of my might, I am a red man with a native mind

Hear me out in the wilderness, I hold my spear, and it will be free

With the antelope I shall have a trophy, a feast on our table

It is the Spring and we need nourishment from the ox, lamb and sheep

Let us have salvation, peace at our feet, and the courage to move onward

To the valleys of our ancestors, and we shall live, once again, in spirit

In mind, and in rejoice, for we are the native man of all mankind
