Poem -

Never surrender

You fought for our country
lives lost to the enemy
Explosion's shots and grenades
You risked your life for us all

Injured weary tired but still
You fought, not once did you
Give up hope.
Without these brave men you
Should be thankfullΒ  for giving
Their all.
Father's sons brothers sisters mother's, all lost some one dear

My grandad you see was in ww2Β
Parachuted behind enemy linesΒ
To provide support for the next day
When dday came into play, respect
To them all and so much love
To all brave soldiers up above.
I wish to say thank you for your
Bravery,
So when you see a poppy justΒ
Think about these brave men
My grandad for one, I hope toΒ
See again.
Never give in never surrender x
