NEVER WILL LET GO

I toss and turn all night,

body dripping in sweat,

wondering if I'm alright.

Grab my pillow tight,

stare at the ceiling,

this is not insomnia,

its a different feeling.

Realize shes not next to me,

I can only imagine the ecstasy.

Reminisce on the good times we shared,

never moving on from you I feared,

my heart is broken beyond compare.

When you passed away,

til to this day,

I can honestly say,

that I still pray,

one day you walk through that door,

but I'm fooling myself,

I won't ever see you any more.
