NEW LIFE
Call it lost
Just say it slipped away
Say your sad
Say the leaving cost you pain
Fold your arms
Cross chest to guard your heart
Blink back tears
Say you feared it from the start
Feel you whither
As you shut down and close off
Slow your panic
Show no one no matter cost
Disbelief
At this aloneness that you feel
Pinch yourself
Just to see if this is real
Their goodbye
Seemed to suck you breath away
They moved on
And you find you have to stay
Gaping hole
Once filled so easily
Never knew
They were longing to be free
Turn to home
Finding solace in the dark
Time to begin
This job of life apart

solace is a lonely place i find solace in God i am approaching the runway 58 in a couple of days anyway life has many curve balls we just have to navigate around them
