NIGHT SURRENDERS TO THE SUN

NIGHT SURRENDERS TO THE SUN

Whatever I am going through
Wherever I found myself to be
In my lostness, in my sorrow
I am held and found in Thee
Living, trying to be okay
Inside, I'm carrying a hole
I try to carry on each day
Though sorrow takes a toll
I come to your table, Lord
With my empty, lonely place
Only You can satisfy a heart
And mend with love and grace
I hear you say; Come, My child
Come sit with Me, abide
I'll wash away your loneliness
The tears you hide inside
Joy comes in the morning
When a new day has begun
Sorrow begins to unravel
As night, surrenders to the sun

This is what I've been experiencing after a loss of a 15 year friendship. Thank you Marion.
