No End In Encore

Stimulate me with your boring story
Try adding some horror to make it gory
A little humor
A twist or two
Throw in some mystery with a cryptic clue

Some uplifting vocals
A pause here and there
Roll your eyes in surprise
Why continue to stare?

Monotonous moments get lost in your speech
With no point to your tale,
‘The End’ can’t be reached

If I walk away now I don’t mean to be rude
But I’d even lose interest if you narrated nude

As I walk out the door do I try to resist
The urge to find out if an ending exists  

Have you bothered to acknowledge my abrupt leave of absence?
Do you even require others listening in your presence?

There’s one thing for sure
I’m assured of much more
You have caught my attention with your boring encore!
